VACANCY FOR Site Officer

Salary: Grade 6, Points 7-12 of the Meridian Trust Support pay scale, £22,369 – £24,496.

Hours of work: Full time 37 hours per week on a shift pattern, 52 weeks per year.

We are looking for a Site Officer to be part of our vibrant and forward thinking Trust. This is a busy but interesting role working in a busy school environment which will include a range of duties connected with running and maintaining the school sites.

The successful candidate will work as part of the site team working across the Ely Hub of schools which includes Ely College, The Lantern Primary School and Little Downham Feoffees Primary School. You will be joining an experienced and friendly site team helping to ensure that they meet all the needs of a busy multi based site and will be well supported by the Site Manager and the wider Trust.

You will be working as part of a team ensuring that the site is fit for purpose and that maintenance is carried out to buildings and grounds as required. The role is ideally for 37 hours a week 52 weeks a year on a shift pattern including early mornings and evenings.  However, we would be happy to consider candidates who are interested in working part time or term time only. 

Experience of working within the education sector would be beneficial but is not compulsory as full training will be given to the successful candidate.
