15 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

4.00pm – 5.30pm (to close and lock school) 7.5 Hours

Remaining 7.5 hours can be flexible to suit candidate and school requirements.

Total Hours per week: 15 hours

Start date: ASAP

Salary: SCP B3 Point 7 - 11 Hourly Rate: £11.59- £12.47 p/h

Contract: 5 Days per week, 15 hours per week, term time only + 10 days Permanent

The Governors of this Outstanding Catholic Primary School (Ofsted) wish to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated Site Superintendent / Caretaker to join our dedicated, friendly and welcoming team of staff, governors, children and parents.

We are looking for a committed Site Superintendent / Caretaker who:

• Is committed to safeguarding the children in our care and adheres to safeguarding policy and procedures
• Is sympathetic to the catholic ethos of the school
• Has an ability to work as part of a team
• Has an ability to be flexible and adaptable responding to duty delegation
• Is self-motivated who will have many varied responsibilities and specific responsibilities around general maintenance and health and safety
• Provide maintenance and security services on the school site and premises
• Ensure that the internal and external school facilities are available, fully functional and H&S compliant
• The role will involve working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leaders
• Has a willingness to be part of the community of St Joseph’s
