35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (three shift rota)
Crayford Academy has the opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working hard manually in a team to provide a high standards of property & grounds maintenance, security and may be looking to get on the first steps of site management.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with an interest in site management. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player working with the Senior Site Manager and Deputy Site Manager to deliver an outstanding service for the school. Experience in schools would be advantageous but not essential. A willingness to learn and train is essential.
Reporting to the Deputy Site Manager, you will support in school security, cleaning, building and grounds maintenance. You will maintain high standards of presentation, repair and cleanliness. There is also the opportunity to support letting hire hours across the Academy sites on additional paid hours on a rota basis.
You will need be willing to train to gain knowledge of regulatory bodies and compliance for planned maintenance, health and safety compliance, including the writing of risk assessments. We require an effective communicator (both written and verbal) with all levels of staff, pupils and contractors. Ideally you will be confident in using IT
