We are seeking an enthusiastic, practical, loyal person to join our existing site team with immediate effect. This is a full-time position which will assist the site team with the care of the Academy premises, ranging from general maintenance duties including minor repairs and refurbishment works, porterage and other duties. You will be a key holder and support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the health and safety and security of a busy Academy.
Applicants should be trustworthy, reliable, well organised, hard-working, physically fit, conscientious and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Ideally you will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of health and safety, IT skills and an understanding of Safeguarding, however training will be provided.
Working hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The post runs on a rota basis, early or late shift 6.00am until 2.00pm and 11.00am to 7.00pm, alternating each week. A flexible working approach is required.
