Salary: TSAT Grade D (Pro rata salary for hours and weeks stated £19,055 - £21,446)

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent, 37 hours a week – term time + 3 weeks

We require a Sixth Form Administrator to join Holcombe Grammar School to provide administrative support for the Sixth Form Team and students and promote excellent attendance and punctuality in the Sixth Form.

Holcombe Grammar School is part of The Thinking Schools Academy Trust. We are a selective 11-18 boys’ school with a large and growing mixed Sixth Form. At Holcombe Grammar School our aim is that students develop into successful, well rounded, confident young people who are equipped with the academic and life skills necessary to thrive in the modern world.

The vast majority of our students go on to top universities at the end of the Sixth Form.

What you will need to succeed:  

• Supporting the sixth form team and students you will need to have a flexible working approach.  
• Able to provide a friendly, welcoming, pastoral care for students and enjoy working around young people  
• Ability to cope with conflicting demands, deadlines and interruptions and to work to tight deadlines in a methodical manner observing confidentiality at all times.  
• Previous school administrative experience and knowledge of SIMS is essential.  
• You will need a high level of attention to detail, as you will be responsible for ensuring information is up to date on SIMS including timetables  
• Have excellent IT skills  
• First Aider or willingness to be trained in first aid
