We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Sixth Form Learning Mentor to join our pastoral team. In the role you will be supporting Sixth Form students to overcome their barriers to learning enabling them to achieve their full potential. The role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working with young people in an educational, youth work or social care setting.
To succeed in the role you have will require experience of developing a rapport with young people, and help to engage them in academic activities.
A good level of ICT skills is essential and experience with the use of the SIMS database would be useful.
The postholder will work 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:00am to 3:30pm Friday, term time only.
