Waingels is a very successful 11-18 comprehensive school serving its local community. Our successes and achievements can be attributed to our commitment to grow a Better Never Stops culture, providing a safe, inclusive and rich learning environment. We set high standards and expect our students to be respectful, kind, resilient and proud of their achievements and of our school. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated and experienced administration and support team in a specialist role.

We are looking for a Pastoral Support Assistant to support our vibrant sixth form. The successful candidate will manage our silent work room allowing sixth form students to work independently on their studies. Applicants should be prepared to supervise our 6th form students and support them with their learning and next steps progression. The role will also include some administrative support and assisting in our main school reception area. You will work alongside our experienced Sixth Form learning manager.

No prior experience of the role is necessary. However, we need someone who feels confident to work alongside our sixth form students and to independently supervise them. You should be keen to take on responsibility and keen to learn. You should have experience with Microsoft Office Tools but above all, you will need a “can-do” attitude to learning new skills, systems and applications.

Above all, we need someone committed to supporting our young people and helping us be an exceptional school, striving for excellence in everything we do.

If you feel your values and ethos align with ours, this is an exciting opportunity for you!
