Truro and Penwith College has a number of vacancies across a range of new European Social Fund (ESF) projects, which will address skills gaps and support individuals with training and information, advice and guidance across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

ESF EXCELLENCE IN HEALTH AND CARE SKILLS GROUP

This project will support micro and SME employers in the Health and Care sector to review their training needs and the relevance of current provision and provide opportunities for businesses to work with the College to re-design the curriculum and pilot new models and programmes to shape the future of training for the sector.

The successful applicant will engage with businesses within the Health and Social Care sector and develop new and existing partnerships to support the development of an employer-led skills programme. Applicants should be highly motivated with a passion for providing excellent customer service and be adept at establishing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and intermediaries. The ideal candidate will be from a clinical healthcare background to support the development of programmes to support this sector and have experience of industry engagement. Access to or use of transport is required.
