37.5 hours pw , term time only + 10 additional days

We are seeking two enthusiastic and well-qualified Specific Learning Needs Teaching Assistants to join the SLN Department from January 2017 on a full time basis, (though applications for part time hours will be considered).

The role is to deliver and monitor a programme of work to SLN groups/individuals through in-class support at the school’s Senior School. These responsibilities include planning lessons based on agreed targets and scheme of work and recording progress and achievement, supporting students in developing independent learning skills use of assistive technology to access learning in the classroom. The role may also involve working with students in other age groups across Junior School and Rose Court, our Pre-Prep and Nursery site.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, excluding five 30 minute lunch breaks (unpaid). Additionally the post holders will be contracted to work 10 additional days per annum outside term time to be agreed with their manager and in proportion to the final agreed working hours.
