Salary: Grade 7, scale points 7-11 pro rata (£7587.41 per year)

Hours: 15 per week, term time plus 4 weeks (some flexibility to take leave during term time)

The Heys School is seeking to appoint an administrator to support the work of our Senior Leadership Team providing the best educational experiences for our young people.

The ideal candidate should be proactive with excellent communication skills. They will need to be flexible, positive, and have a capacity to work under pressure. Good IT and Literacy skills are essential for this role.

GENERIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete general administration duties including processing and filing.

• Using the email system competently, check and send parental communication and reply to emails when required.

• Comply with the appraisal system.

• Attend recognised training as suggested by your line manager.

• Follow the Academy Code of Conduct and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality for all work undertaken ensuring office security is maintained and confidences are not breached.

• Be available to assist with related activities on either site.

• To be self-motivating and self-organised to identify priorities with an ability to organise work tasks efficiently.

• Liaise with students as needed.

• Provide hospitality as and when required.

• Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Leadership Team or your Line Manager.
