Are you passionate about social action? Leeds City College are seeking a subject leader for our new Access to HE Diploma in Social Action (Level 3) at Leeds City College. If you can balance theory, social action practice and critical reflection in your delivery and have some knowledge and understanding of the social, political, economic and environmental contexts of social action, we encourage you to apply. This Diploma aims to prepare adult learners for higher level study and to help them strengthen their social action practices and projects.


 

We are looking for a self starter who can inspire and enable students to draw from their own experiences and knowledge, to help them advance their skills and abilities even further. The Sixth Form Lecturer will also teach aspects of the course, so we are looking for someone who has experience of teaching relevant subjects in Further Education or community settings. The course will be held within Leeds Sixth Form College at the Park Lane Campus. The first cohort will run as a condensed course from March to August 2020, so you must be available through those months. We would be looking for the successful candidate to take up this role immediately. There will be a second cohort starting in September 2020.
