Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced Health and Social Care / Sociology Teacher to join schools in Islington. The Health and Social Care / Sociology Teacher would be comfortable to teach both subjects up to KS5. We can offer you a vast array of contracts; from day to day roles, long term teaching roles and permanent teaching roles.

About the Role

• Health and Social Care / Sociology Teacher 

• 50% timetable of Health and Social Care

• Daily / Temp / Perm

• £130 - £180 - Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS

In order to be considered for this role, the Health and Social Care / Sociology Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS

• Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
