Could you become part of a specialised team and help to change the future of many young lives in a positive way?
We are looking for a confident and self-motivated individual to work with our pastoral and SEND teams. The role will be mentor a caseload of students, with guidance from the Mental Health Lead, aged 11 – 18 with mild/moderate mental health and wellbeing needs. Through weekly mentoring sessions, you will support students to learn healthy ways of coping with their emotions, and provide advice and guidance around wellbeing issues such as sleep, worry management, relationships and self-esteem, ensuring appropriate referrals to other agencies as necessary.
Suitably qualified, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, you will support students on a 1:1 basis through all year groups, including our 6th Form.
