Job overview
We seek an enthusiastic and inspiring individual to join the Modern Foreign Languages Department from April 2021. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge who is able to engage our pupils and can teach Spanish to A-Level.
The ability to teach a second subject, linguistic or otherwise, would be advantageous but not essential. As part of the wider School community, applicants must demonstrate a willingness to be part of a busy boarding/day school.
Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS and Child Protection Checks. We are an equal opportunities employer.

About Wellington School
Wellington School is a Church of England denominational, co-educational, day and boarding school in Somerset. As of the most recent inspection, there were 900 pupils on the school roll. The school’s motto is the opening of Psalm 127; ‘If God Be Not With Us, Our Labour is in Vain’. The Senior School teaches pupils between the ages of 11-18. The school also offers preparatory facilities from the ages of 3 onwards. Founded in 1837 as a boys school, Wellington has been fully independent and co-educational since 1978. The 35 acre site is a combination of traditional and more recent architecture. The school operates in both a boarding and day capacity.
