The Role

We would like to appoint an outstanding candidates as a new Spanish teacher. The post is open to all, from NQTs to people with lots of experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person who's new to teaching or is looking for a change and can take our classrooms by storm! It would be beneficial if you had a second language - Urdu or Arabic particularly welcome.

The Department

Our Languages department is devised of a team of highly intelligent and capable educators who collaborate as a team and provide excellent support for all our teaching staff.

The School

Starbank is a very large school which has been growing steadily since 2010. We were originally a split-site primary school and were rated outstanding when last inspected in 2012. In 2014 we became an all-through school, introducing a new secondary intake each year since September 2014. A brand new building was opened in September 2016 which can accommodate 900 secondary students in addition to 420 of our primary pupils.

Starbank School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational all-through school in the West Midlands, serving students from the age of 3-16. The all-through school, situated in Birmingham has approximately 890 students on record.

Starbank School became an all-through school in 2014 and is located over three sites – Starbank Road, Bierton Road and Hob Moor Road. Facilities for primary and secondary school students include a iMac suites, specialist science equipment and a Arts and Design Technology room.
