We are looking to appoint a well qualified and enthusiastic SEND Coordinator from September 2021 to support our SEND pupils across the School.
Job Purpose
To work closely with the Vice Principal Academic and colleagues in the strategic development of the school’s Educational Support policy (SEND)
To be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school’s SEND policy and coordination of educational support and special needs activity the sim of which is to increase staff awareness of SEND issues and to raise SEND pupil achievement
Employment Conditions
This role will be paid on the King Edward VI High School for Girls Salary Scale for Teachers, which is reviewed after every national award and is more generous than the scales operated in maintained schools. Staff join it at a point relevant to their length of service or recognised experience elsewhere.
The job holder will also be awarded two responsibility points, which represents a responsibility allowance of £4,562 per annum in addition to the basic salary.
