We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and forward-thinking practitioner (who has attained the National Award for SENDCo).  The role will be varied and will include working with pupils with individual needs; overseeing the creation and implementation of individual plans to enable pupils to access the curriculum; reviewing and assessing pupil progress and targets; liaising with external agencies and providing pastoral support to pupils and their families. You will be supported in your role by the SENDCos across our highly successful and collaborative multi-academy trust and will be able to share good practice to ensure the very highest quality of provision for our SEND pupils.  



We are looking for someone who:

• Knows and understands the SEND Code of Practice;

• Is able to contribute to school self-evaluation and development plans;

• Offers guidance and support to colleagues;

• Is creative, with high expectations of behaviour and achievement;

• Is enthusiastic about teaching and learning and being the best they can be;

• Is excited about exploring ways to develop teaching and learning across all subjects;

• Is enthusiastic about the opportunities in our school and across the trust;

• Is committed to safeguarding and wellbeing for children and staff.
