Garratt Park School aims to make a real difference to the life chances of  children and young people with  Special Educational Needs.  Over the last three years all of our leavers have moved on to college or work.  Would you like to join our welcoming and positive team?

We are a secondary special school in Earlsfield for students aged 11-19 who have a wide range of SEN. These include Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Communication and Interaction difficulties.

The school has an Advisory Service to mainstream secondary and primary schools, for students with ASD and Social Communication Difficulties. All Staff are provided with training, and career development opportunities are available.

The school has the Basic Skills Quality Mark, Inclusion Quality Mark, the ICT Mark and Gold Investors in People.  It was judged to be an Outstanding school by OfSTED in June 2014.

We are looking for a talented, committed and enthusiastic Primary or Secondary trained teacher, mostly in Key Stage 3.  Knowledge and skills in Mathematics, English and/or ICT at any Key Stage would be an advantage.

Your commitment to the belief that all children can make progress,  both within and beyond the curriculum, is an essential requirement for this post.  Experience and/or knowledge of working with children who have Special Educational Needs is essential.
