The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have some experience of teaching pupils with autism in either a mainstream or a specialist setting
  • Follow our core teaching strategies of SCERTS and TEACCH
  • Use their own initiative yet become an integral member of the teaching team
  • Be empathetic and understanding in their support and guidance for parents
  • Care pastorally and aim high academically
