ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teacher for a school located in Yardley. This school caters for students with MLD who are 7 to 19 years of age. You will be working with KS2 students and will be joining an outstanding school that ensures that there is always a high staff to student ratio. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants, allowing for an outstanding learning environment. 

This role will begin in September and will continue for the whole academic year, with a high possibility of becoming permanent. We are looking for a confident individual that has experience of working with Special Educational Needs students and is a dedicated to developing lower level students. 

The Ideal candidate – 

• Will have QTS

• Highly creative in a classroom setting 

• Knowledge within the education sector 

• Passion for supporting the learning of children 

• In date DBS & on the Update Service      

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child and Adult Workforce; you will need to pay for this upfront and add this to the Update Service.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
