Special Needs Teacher
April (after Easter) to July 2018
The pay for this role will be between £120 - £160 per day
A rare new opportunity for a talented Primary or SEND trained teacher looking for a long term, part time post.
This school requires a supply teacher 3 days per week – there could be potential for this to extend to 5 days if this is of interest, but this is not essential. We need someone who understands Early Years and who would like to work with SLD children at KS1 and 2. Experience in special school highly advantageous. This is a job share at present and you will receive PPA time.
Planning and assessment are required as this is a long term class cover role.
This role is suitable for a relatively new teacher, or an experienced teacher as long as you have the skills required to teach SEND.
On Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings, school has meetings that you will need to attend and are vital to properly fulfil this role. We need you to be available until 4.30pm on both evenings.
Why choose Vision for Education?
- Full compliance with AWR (Agency Worker Regulations) to make sure you get paid what you deserve
- £50 reward every time you recommend a colleague
- Pension Contributions (subject to qualifying period)
- Regular social events with 100% complimentary food and drink
Interviews will be carried out by Vision for Education in April. You may be required to carry out a trial session teaching along with a visit to the class and school to gauge fit and suitability. Ideally you will already have a DBS registered to the update service. However if this is not the case we would need to process one immediately.
