Dipont Education is seeking a secondary mathematics specialist to join our head office team in central Shanghai.

About the Role
Our head office education team (comprising of 18 specialists) support all schools across our network. The successful applicant will liaise with senior leaders and teachers to ascertain support required and training needs in the teaching of mathematics. Helping to nurture a positive ethos with a focus on the well-being of staff and students is crucial to the role.
Workshops on both pedagogy and curriculum will be delivered for both Chinese and international teaching staff, with specific coaching and mentoring when required. Another integral aspect of the role is to be involved with an ongoing quality assurance process within our independent schools.
There will be a requirement for significant travel within China and the role provides a great opportunity to truly explore and experience both Chinese culture and educational practice.
Salary levels are very competitive with a benefits package that includes: accommodation allowance, annual return airfare, annual bonus and worldwide medical cover. Cost of living is favourable and disposable income is high.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate excellent classroom practice, with the expertise and authority to guide and train other practitioners in both curriculum delivery and pedagogy. An understanding of the needs of EAL students and excellent mathematics subject knowledge will be essential.
