Luton Sixth Form College is a specialist Sixth Form College, providing academic and general vocational education for 16 to 18 year olds in Luton.

Established in September 1966, we are the oldest Sixth Form College in the country and have an enviable reputation for quality and excellence. We are also one of the largest, with more than 2,800 students taking a vast array of A Level and BTEC courses.

Our mission is to provide an outstanding education for young people at the College, and to work with other local providers to ensure that there are opportunities for all young people in Luton to succeed and progress.

The College is located in a quiet residential area in the north of Luton, with easy access from the town centre, A505, A6 and M1. Our site was redeveloped between 2008 and 2010 and the original grammar school buildings were replaced by a £56m campus offering state-of-the-art facilities and modern resources for staff and students.

We are an equal opportunities employer and we celebrate and value diversity. Our greatest asset is our staff and we want everyone who works at the College to develop their full potential. We run a regular programme of training through professional development available to teachers and business services staff alike, as well as a fund to support external CPD activities.

Other benefits our staff have access to include free on-site parking, a support network including a counselling service, a fitness suite and a range of sporting and social activities to participate in.
