The Group is expanding its support services dedicated to supporting the aspirations and needs of our local communities including learners with SEND. We provide high quality specialist in-house support such as speech and language therapy and specialist teaching. Our support staff have gone on to careers in teaching, social work, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, educational psychology.  


About the roles 

Specialist Learning Assistants support a caseload of learners to overcome barriers to learning, and develop resilience and independence. Support packages will be focused on meeting needs related to SEND including learners with Education, Health and Care Plans and ESOL, English or Maths.


About you

You will have a clear understanding of the educational impact of a wide range of learning difficulties, disabilities, medical conditions and mental health needs. You will be able to personalise your wide range of effective strategies to support learners to achieve. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and a good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice 2014. As you will be supporting learners studying up to level 3; you must have as a minimum, a level 2 qualification in English and Maths at grade C/4.
