We are looking for inspirational and resilient Specialist Learning Coaches to work with lecturers in the delivery of the curriculum, underpinning literacy and numeracy needs as well as supporting learners with identified barriers to learning.

Liaising with relevant members of Learning Support, you will ensure that additional support needs for learners within classes are met.

You will provide support within classes to reinforce learning delivered by the lecturer and support the delivery of Literacy and Numeracy (1-1 or in small groups). This may include specialist support for students who need additional support to achieve their goals including students with barriers to learning.

You will also assist the lecturer in the supervision of students to ensure standards of work and behavior are maintained.

A natural communicator and proven motivator, you will thrive on student interaction and utilise your knowledge and experience within the field to help each student achieve their full potential.

You will have a proven ability to work proactively and effectively within a team in a changing environment, demonstrable IT skills and a flexible and enthusiastic approach to working practices.
