Job overview

Bristol Grammar School are seeking two part-time specialist Learning Support Assistants, from September 2022.

The primary duties of the Learning Support Assistants are to provide assistance to an Infant pupil with an Education, Health and Care plan. In this role, they will help support a visually impaired pupil safely participate in all areas of school life, access the curriculum and extra-curricular activities, participate in learning, experience a sense of achievement and develop independence in learning and other aspects of school life. This support will be provided on a 1:1 basis in the classroom and beyond, as well as within small groups.

Learning Support assistants (LSAs) are integral members of the Infant and Junior Staff team and play a full part in the life of the School.
