About the opportunity:

We wish to recruit an outstanding Specialist Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated Learning Support team and contribute to ensuring our school continues to flourish.

This exciting opportunity will see your expertise exercised to enable SEND students and their families have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning. This may include monitoring attendance, working closely with external agencies to support parents and carers to improve engagement in learning at school, as well as providing specialist intervention to either individuals or groups of students. The successful applicant will also be enthusiastic about providing quality support within whole class settings, working alongside students and teachers to facilitate learning.

About The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College

The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College has 1560 students, 200 of whom are in the Sixth Form. The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Wroughton.  

The school was established in 1967 and was the first purpose-built comprehensive school in Wiltshire. We offer GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for students, while sixth form students have the option of studying a range of A-levels and further BTECs.   

We are committed to inspiring learners for their future through a vibrant, innovative, and supportive environment where students develop resourcefulness and resilience, accept responsibility, and are challenged to take risks in order to succeed.
