Are you looking for the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced LSA to take on the exciting role of Specialist Learning Support Assistant.
The role involves delivering interventions and supporting different children with additional needs across Key Stage 2, helping them to meet their targets and to ensure that advice from outside agencies (e.g. speech and language, Occupational Therapy) is implemented. It also involves delivering interventions to enable children to make accelerated progress in an area they are finding difficult e.g. maths, English or speech and language. Ongoing support and training will be provided by the school and there will be opportunities to train to deliver specific interventions. This role would suit an experienced LSA who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity.
You must have experience of delivering effective intervention to children in Key Stage 2. Previous training in specific interventions would be an advantage and willingness to undertake further training a necessity.
If you would like to find out more, please contact the Vice Principal, Helen Jackson-Brench (01895 442904; email hjackson-brenchwda@theparkfederation.org).
