Rhyl is a forward thinking, inclusive and very successful community school with an exciting future ahead. We are school where staff and children thrive and are valued within a safe and highly stimulating school environment. Our children are truly exceptional and keen to learn. We have a creative and highly engaging curriculum with many awards for excellence in the arts, music, outdoor learning, sport and an exemplary school teaching garden.

Rhyl has a strong reputation for excellence in Inclusion and we are looking for a teacher to support our staff and children to further develop our provision for those with SEND and complex needs. We are looking for a teacher to work with our staff in the classrooms across the school. The successful candidate will have significant experience of working with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs and will have worked across the primary age range.

Following our expansion in September, we have an exceptionally high number of children with complex needs and SEND. We have a large and experienced Inclusion Team and work closely with outside professionals from Camden, who provide excellent support to our school. Due to the high numbers of children with SEND we are looking for a teacher who will support staff and children in the classroom under the direction of the Inclusion Leader and SENDCos. The role will be mainly based in the classrooms across the school to provide support, advice and modelling to ensure our provision is the best possible. This is a new post and you will be working alongside two SENDCos and a team of excellent and experienced support staff.

We would love to speak to you and tell you more about our school and the position. Unfortunately we are not able to offer visits to the school but if you would like to speak to us, please contact the school office on 020 7485 4899 to arrange an informal chat with the Deputy Head Teacher about the role.
