Do you love working with great schools, which are focussed on delivering inclusive education for all children and young people?  Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work within a special needs environment in the London Borough of Havering. The children have a range of complex learning needs. The successful Specialist Speech and Language Therapist will need to be comfortable working within a special needs environment, with children with complex needs including Autism; Developmental Language Disorders; Down’s syndrome and Selective Mutism.

• Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

• Part of the therapy support service in a school

• Based in one school, working in a team to establish innovative, sustainable, and consistent service to our children and young people

Requirements 

To be considered for the Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role, you will: 

• Completion of RCSLT accredited BSc; MSc or PGDip

• Member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

• Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
