- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
We are seeking a passionate teacher of Bahasa Indonesian to teach Prep to Year 6 students using the Australian Curriculum: Languages.
The successful applicant will be an integral member of the community, teaching Indonesian across the school in a dynamic and creative manner, working with the staff team to –
• connect Language learning with other learning areas,
• develop understanding of ways to engage with and utilize local and global community resources,
• using expected and effective practices in learning & teaching,
thus achieving the interrelated aims of learning languages (ACARA Shape Paper) for all students.

If Part Time, hours and/or days required: 18 hours (3 days) / week; Tuesday - Thursday.
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
