Specialist Teacher - Mathematics

Hours: Full time (Consideration could be given to this post as a part time position).

Location: Newbridge House, Ewan Close, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.  LA13 9HU (Main) and Kendal Tutorial Centre, Canal Head North, Kendal, Cumbria LA9 7BY

We require an effective teacher with experience of children with challenging behaviour to work across the Pupil Referral Service (this includes the Pupil Referral Unit, Hospital & Home Tuition Service and Alternative Provision across the South of Cumbria).  We support children from Key stages 2, 3 and 4 who have been permanently excluded or are medically unfit to attend school.  The post is for a Mathematics qualified practitioner - please see the person specification for the range of skills and qualities that apply to this post. 

We are a small team of strong and committed professionals and are looking for someone to enhance our staff team further as the challenges we work to support continue to grow in number and complexity.

To start in September 2020 (or earlier if available).
