Job overview

St Peter’s C of E Aided School is seeking to appoint, from April 2017 or sooner, two enthusiastic and dynamic teachers of Mathematics to join our very successful Mathematics Department. This position provides an excellent opportunity for practitioners seeking to broaden their experience within a strong, supportive and experienced Mathematics department. There will be a potential TLR available with one position for the right candidate (dependent on experience). The posts would suit either experienced teachers seeking a new challenge or newer teachers wishing to develop their practice. We seek teachers who have, and will help develop, exciting teaching and learning techniques and challenge all students to do their best. Our students make teaching here a real pleasure.

The Mathematics department is a highly successful, well thought of team who work hard together to further raise subject achievement through high quality learning experiences. We are seeking to appoint teachers who are committed to encouraging effective learning and share our core principals in engaging students so they achieve their best. If you are excited by innovation and creativity then we would like to hear from you.

A willingness and ability to offer time and energy to our extra-curricular provision (which we believe adds significant value to our character based approaches to education, including our Combined Cadet Force), will be taken into consideration for applications.

As a Church of England Aided School, in cases of equal merit preference will be given to candidates who are in sympathy with the foundation.

Please download the application pack from the school website www.spexe.org

Closing date: noon 2 December 2016.
Interview date: 7 December 2016.
