Salary Range SCP 13-23, Level 5 (£23,576-£28,690), actual salary is £20,266-£24,662 

37 hours per week, term time only, plus INSET

Priory School is a “Good” Ofsted rated, diverse & multi-cultural Primary Foundation School located on the outskirts of Slough. There are approximately 770 children ranging from Nursery to Year 6. The school also has a Resource Unit with 80 children for pupils with complex needs.

We are looking to appoint a Speech & Language Intervention Specialist to compliment the professional work of teachers by delivering first class Speech and Language therapy and interventions to individuals and groups under the direction of the Mainstream SENCo.

The successful candidate will:

• Have A*- C Level GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths
• ELKLAN training accreditation or be willing to work towards
• Meet Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Have the ability to use your initiative to work independently and flexibly
• Have experience of working with children
• Enjoy working with children and be able to form good relationships with children and adults
• Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and bring a sense of energy and passion to the role
