SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST
To work with pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties associated with ASD
Term-time only, NHS band 5 to start September 17
Forest Bridge school is a brand new, special free school, which opened in September 2015 for children and young people with a primary diagnosis of autism. All pupils have some degree of speech, language and social communication needs.
The school delivers the national curriculum underpinned by the principles of ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis). We currently cater for 58 pupils between the ages of 4 and 13 years. The school will expand to cater for a maximum of 96 pupils over the next few years and cater to age 16.
Forest Bridge School is a rapidly developing, small, friendly school with opportunity for joint working with other professionals. We offer regular supervision and support with CPD.
The successful therapist will be responsible for providing an individualized package of care for each pupil and for providing staff training.
All applicants are required to be HCPC registered and it is desired for them to be registered members of the RCSLT.
