Job overview
We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist - Band 6 for a Maternity cover post starting September 2021 for 3 terms based at our Senior School in Central London SW1.
Fairley House is an outstanding specialist Independent school meeting the needs of pupils ages 5-16 with dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. We currently have approx. 180 pupils on roll.
You will work as part of a transdisciplinary team and carry out a range of standardized assessments and observations, provide reports and keep notes on progress, you will be able to contribute to parent conferences. Treatment will include one to one, small group and class based session. You will be able to provide consultation and advice to teachers in relation to Speech and language issues. You will be part of a team that supports the development of literacy and numeracy, and contribute to IEPS and annual reviews .
