Working Pattern:     3 days per week (between 8.30 – 4.30), term time plus 2 weeks (41 working weeks)

Nightingale Community Academy is a special school in Wandsworth for 120 boys aged 5 to 19 with social emotional and mental health needs.

Primary pupils benefit from a purpose-built classroom hub and outdoor adventure playground and access to weekly music lessons and a comprehensive therapy service. Secondary and post-16 students are offered a broad curriculum including vocational courses such as motor vehicle studies, construction, horticulture and hospitality. All pupils benefit from regular animal therapy at Tom’s Farm, which is located on the spacious school site.

A great opportunity to join an expanding team of therapists working at Nightingale Community Academy and across a collaborative of similar units. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, which offers a range of therapies, such as Creative, Psychotherapy, Speech & Language and Occupational Therapy. 

As part of the Therapy Team, you will be responsible for organising and delivering therapy interventions to children and young people attending the school. As well as delivering therapy sessions to the young people attending NCA, you will communicate with CAMHS and other partner organisations. This may include participating in Peer Supervision and reciprocal arrangements for one to one and group work.
