Job overview

Speech & Language Therapist

Undershaw is a small, specialist setting offering a broad and dynamic education for the children in our care. Our integrated therapy, innovative curriculum, and bespoke qualification pathways unite to create Undershaw’s place at the centre of SEND education. Therapy threads itself throughout school life and our team of leading therapists is a vibrant aspect of our staff team. Undershaw therapists work across all the staff specialisms, have input into bespoke student transition plans and are consulted constantly for their unique perspective on many aspects of student life.

At Undershaw we pride ourselves on our friendly culture and our child-centric structure. The school is somewhere we all feel we can make a genuine difference to the life of every student. We believe that education must be delivered in a style that harbours a zest for learning and a thirst for life beyond the classroom. Our central purpose is that students can leave Undershaw at the end of their tenure with happiness, self-confidence, tenacity, genuine friendships and can go on to fulfil their potential as young adults equipped for their full and independent lives beyond the school gates.

Please complete and return application form by Monday, 24 January, and interviews will be held shortly thereafter.
