An exciting opportunity for a motivated Speech Pathologist willing to work in regional and remote schools of the Northern Territory.
The Speech Pathologist is a member of a multi-disciplinary Inclusion Support Services Team providing speech and language pathology services to support students and families. This role includes capacity building within school communities to improve access, participation and achievement for all students.
- A degree in speech pathology from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent;
- Consultative and collaborative approach to the provision of clinical assessments, reports and support to schools and in the development of Individual Adjustment Plans;
- Provision of professional learning and support in speech development and communication disorders;
- The ability to contribute to Inclusion Support forums and to work with school teaching staff to develop appropriate speech and communication interventions to support student learning.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of the successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
