St Peter’s Preparatory School, Lympstone, is one of the most successful and forward-looking independent preparatory schools in the South West, awarded Excellent in all categories in a recent ISI Inspection (March 2020), and we pride ourselves on outstanding learning support.
The School wishes to engage a suitably qualified SpLD Specialist Peripatetic Teacher to work on an individual basis with pupils who have specific learning difficulties associated with dyslexia. Specialist lessons are parent-funded at a pre-agreed rate of £17.55 for 30 minutes.
The successful candidate will have a relevant SpLD/Dyslexia/SEND qualification and prior experience of providing 1:1 support to KS1/2 children with specific learning difficulties. We are seeking someone with a calm and patient manner, a flexible, positive and proactive approach and excellent written and verbal communication with both children and adults.
