Job overview

 The Higher Education Sport department are actively recruiting for a Technician in Sport Science.  You will provide, technical, learning and research support to students and staff in physiology and biomechanics. You will assist in delivering laboratory skills sessions for HE students and will play a key role in supporting teaching staff in laboratory sessions. You will be responsible for keeping facilities and equipment in a good working order and ensuring students are safe within all learning environments.  

You should have a high level of technical proficiency whilst being organised and thorough as well as the ability to communicate effectively. You will have successful experience of undertaking research in physiology, nutrition or biomechanics. 

Candidates will have a good honours degree and higher qualifications that are relevant to this post.
