Sport & Outdoor and Adventurous Activities (OAA) Support Assistant 20 hours a week, 37 weeks per annum, term time only, Support Staff Spine Point 16 (£16,194 FTE, pro rata) To start as soon as possible Due to the success of our Grade 1 (Outstanding) Sports and Public Services department we are seeking to employ a dynamic and vibrant individual to this exciting new position. The role will see you support our highly experience curriculum team with the delivery and development of our sports and OAA activities. The key duties of this role will be to support the operational running of the Sports and Public Services curriculum including: • delivering enrichment activities • supporting delivery of promotion and liaison activities at the college • facilitating bookings of leisure resources • undertaking a range of duties to support the college sports teams Candidates must have sports coaching and delivery experience and be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively engage and support students in a Post-16 education environment. This role will considered alongside applications for coaching roles available at the College, which are currently advertised. Prior experience of coaching or delivery of activities to young people is essential. This role is initially a temporary contract until mid-July 2018 but may be extended should the role prove successful.
