Shrewsbury School is seeking to appoint an experienced and energetic Administrator / Co-ordinator to support the Director of Sport in the smooth running of the PE Faculty and Sports Programme.

You will provide a full range of secretarial/administration support and be the key link between the Director of Sport, sports staff, pupils and parents, therefore you must have the strength of character and gravitas to quickly establish credibility and confidence internally and externally.  

Essentially you must have:

  • Strong administrative skills and be a highly competent IT user (Microsoft packages, databases etc).
  • A number of years experience working within administration, secretarial or similar position.  Ideally have experience of working in a sporting environment, although not essential.
  • Able to work quickly and accurately, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly at crucial points during the School year.

This is a permanent position working on a full-time basis during term time, plus half-terms and 6 additional weeks in the school holidays.  There is a requirement during term-time to work on Saturday afternoons.  Further details of the full terms and conditions can be found in the job description.
