St Mary’s School is looking to appoint a Sports Assistant to aid the PE department. St Mary’s has recently partnered with Homerton College in the regeneration of the school’s sports facilities. To be successful, you will be enthusiastic and have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work effectively as a team and have the ability to coach a range of sporting activities to a high standard.
You will be required to assist with PE lessons in the Junior and Senior school and extra-curricular sport at lunchtimes and afterschool, lead coaching sessions and games practices, umpire fixtures, and attend and help school trips. You must also be confident IT and computer skills to manage the administration for feeder schools' programmes and weekend bookings and fixtures.
Regular working hours will be between 8.30am and 5.30pm and, when required, additional hours working on a Saturday.

St Mary’s School is a girls-only, non-selective, Roman Catholic, all-through school with sixth form situated in Cambridge. It is an independent school with day and boarding options.
