Sports Assistant

Fixed term contract: September 2021 – June 2022, term-time only
We are looking for individuals with exceptional sporting skills to join our fun, forward-thinking school on a 10-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an educational setting and to contribute to the sporting programme at the School. The successful candidate will assist professional sports coaches and PE/games staff across the curriculum. Ideally candidates will have coaching or playing experience in a variety of sports including rugby, football, netball, hockey, cricket or athletics, but those who excel in one sport will still be considered.
The position demands enthusiasm, flexibility, and a positive approach to all games. If you like to work collaboratively and welcome the opportunity to participate fully in a busy and thriving School, we offer a comprehensive induction and CPD programme for all levels of staff, a competitive remuneration package, and outstanding, well-equipped facilities.
The role is term-time only, Monday to Saturday, with flexible hours to include early morning and evening work. The postholder will also be expected to assist with Saturday sports (home and away fixtures) and any other School trips as required. During term-time, the successful candidate will work at the School and any other confirmed locations as may be reasonably required.
Meals will be provided during term time.
