We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team in September 2023, who is able to coach games throughout the School, and to support the Head of PE in the implementation and delivery of the School’s Enrichment Programme.
Founded in 1906, Leicester High School provides education in our Junior Department of approximately 115 girls aged 3 – 9 years and our Senior School of approximately 250 girls aged 10-18 years. This post is based in the Senior School.
Our small size means everyone is someone at LHS and we pride ourselves on our family feel and excellent academic education. We specialise in bringing out the very best in girls aged 3 to 18 and our School philosophy of Education, Confidence and Opportunity is key to all we do, from our Early Years to our outstanding Sixth Form.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for sport and physical activity and have experience in coaching a variety of games. A tennis specialist would be an advantage. They will be responsible for assisting in the planning and delivery of coaching sessions to students in a variety of sports including tennis.
They should be an excellent role model for our students, inspiring our pupils to always do their best. The candidate should be self-motivated, have the ability to work well in a busy school environment and be able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
The successful applicant will have previous experience coaching a wide variety of games and have obtained an officiating or coaching qualification, however this is not essential.
