Job overview
St Catherine’s seeks to appoint experienced and enthusiastic part-time coaches who are committed to encouraging pupil participation, as well as developing skills and assisting pupil success. Sports coaches will be qualified to coach in at least one specialism, including but not limited to netball, hockey, trampolining, athletics or football, and be able to coach across a wide range of ages and abilities before, during and/or after school.
The successful candidate will work under the instruction and guidance of the Head of Physical Education to support the delivery of quality PE provision.
Applications from graduates are welcome, as are applications from undergraduates and those involved in other sporting and coaching programmes. Applicants are asked to state their specific coaching qualifications and their preferences and strengths regarding sports and co-curricular activities.
The successful candidate/s will have experience of coaching, with a coaching qualification in at least one specialism together with experience of delivering sporting activities to pupils of all ages and abilities. You will demonstrate resilience, motivation and commitment to driving up standards of achievement with a friendly, open and collaborative attitude.
