This position is ideal for a dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious recent graduate, who would relish the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the co-curricular activities of a thriving, well-equipped Sports Department. Although the primary focus for the role will be co-curricular coaching, there will also be an expectation that the successful applicant will support some classroom teaching. The role is ideal for a graduate who may be interested in a career coaching or teaching students at any age, with the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of curriculum and co-curricular delivery at all levels. This is an exciting opportunity to share strategic and operational responsibility for one of our major sporting programmes. 

  • The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic, well-qualified and committed team who are keen to share and develop their pedagogy and classroom practice. 
  • The existing team are well established and have worked together to initiate exciting changes to all aspects of provision, which have seen rapid improvements in student outcomes. 
  • The successful graduate will play a key role in embedding these positive changes, whilst ensuring that the subject continues to evolve and flourish. 
  • The post is offered on a full-time basis for one academic year until the end of Trinity term, 2020 with possible accommodation packages available close to the College site. 
  • The successful candidate will have extensive Netball experience as either a performer or a coach, or both. 
  • They will be an excellent team player with the passion, energy and enthusiasm to inspire young people working in a fast-paced, ambitious and aspirational environment.
