We are seeking a number of enthusiastic and experienced sports graduates to join our physical education department in these exciting roles, to further enhance our excellent provision from September 2018.
GSAL has a great reputation for the sports of rugby, netball, cricket, hockey and football (where we have had national success), along with swimming, badminton, cross country, athletics, squash and golf. Although we do not expect an extensive knowledge of all activities we would require candidates to be enthusiastic and willing to coach a variety of sports.
As part of an enthusiastic team delivering top quality teaching and coaching, applicants should be prepared to offer a range of activities along with a sport which they are both confident and consider themselves a specialist in.
Successful candidates will work alongside our other physical education staff to supplement the co-curricular program.
The sports graduates will have responsibilities in all aspects of physical education and sport including curricular and co-curricular fixtures as required by school.
The post would be suited to someone wishing to pursue a career in physical education teaching.
Hours of work: The contract will be an annualised contract until 5 July 2019 of 1260 hours per year (Based on an average of 35 hours per week during term time with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break per day).
