We are seeking an excellent and dynamic Sports Teacher/Teacher in charge of Rugby who will be responsible for the organisation and development all aspects of the Rugby curriculum at the school, from Reception to Year 8. As such, the role is an important developmental and management position within the school environment. You will be part of a specialist team. The role includes assisting the Director of Sport in managing the department as part of the overall sports programme for the school. The role holder will also be a Rugby (sports) teacher with weekly commitments to teaching and support the wider school’s sports programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking and ambitious professional to join Rokeby School. You will need to be able to teach to a high standard but also be innovative and creative in your approach, to like working with young children and to be committed to a whole school ethos.
